Reflections

We,( as in, Dad and I, not me and the mouse in my pocket) were able to attend the Oqquirrh Temple Dedication. We have had the blessing of attending other dedications in the past and they have all been very wonderful and uplifting. But, as we sat there watching the video of the interior of the temple, the mirrors in the sealing room caught my eye. As I watched the reflections of the mirrors on opposite walls and saw them continue onward forever and ever, it caused me to reflect on several memories of my own. I reflected on the time so many years ago when I was sealed to my own parents in the Cardston Temple. The memories are small and somewhat vague, but very special to me. I thought about when Dad and I were married and sealed in the Cardston Temple and what a beautiful and special day that was. And then my mind took me to each of my own children's marriage's and sealings and how with each marriage there were more of us together in that special temple in the Celestial room. It was so sweet and special to finally have all of us gathered together when Cammie was married and even yesterday as this memory came flooding back into my mind and my heart it caused me to reflect on how sweet it will be when we are all together in the hereafter with those who have gone before us and those yet to come. As Elder Holland stated, "that will truly be Heaven." I am so grateful for those opportunities that allow us to be together and I look forward to the times when we can all be together. I am thankful for the ordinances that will allow us to keep our family together forever. May we all take a moment to relfect on the temple and its meaning in our lives. I love you all!
