Commentary on the State of My Mind

The scene is me laying on the couch with Rachel standing by my side observing the glazed look on my face. She is already bright eyed and bushy tailed having just awakened from her nap. Rachel: "Grandma, when are you going to wake up?" Me: " Oh, my eyes are open, but my mind just isn't awake yet". Rachel, laughing hilariously, " Grandma, you don't have a mind!" Thanks, Rachel. Nothing like from the mouths of babes! I feel great!

One More Thought

Last night as I was laying in bed listening to the night noises (the cars in the distance, the train with it's long mornful tooot, a tiny yappy dog) another thought popped into my wakeful brain. It was July 21. That means it is almost August and what happens to the night noises in August? CRICKETS!!!! yikes! I can hardly wait for the crickets. It's Dad's favorite thing. What else can I say. Just a few more days. YAY!

Well, last night I showed Dad our "blog". He was very impressed. He told me that was the BEST writing I had ever done. So, I guess that means one of two things. Either I never have to write anything else, because that's my best or if THAT writing is my best I really have my work cut out for me because that is kind of sad of that is the best I have ever done. So, I'm kind of thinking that you're going to hear more from me. Sorry. Hopefully, things will get better.

This is sooo amusing to me and so evident of the fact that I am such a technotard!!! I just found out I have a blog!!!!! I have been laughing and laughing. Matt helped me set things up so that I could make comments on everyone else's blogs and this morning Cammie asked me when I was going to put something on my blog, MY BLOG? I say.... what blog? Well, here it is! An amazement and mystery to me. Thanks to Cammie, I now know it is here. Hopefully, I will be able to figure out how to use it. Yay!!! Talk to you all later.
